The British alternative-rock Gen-Z punk duo made up Phoebe Lunny has ADHD and Lilly Macieira who is autistic and bipolar both released their debut album in 2025. Their debut alum ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ mixes politics with humour with songs such as ‘Special Different’ and ‘No Home’ with influences of Bikini Kill and Spice Girls.
Emma-Jean Thackray is a British jazz musician and a musical polymath playing multiple instruments from drums, piano, guitar, trumpet and percussion. Grimes is a Canadian-American alternative electro-pop musician influenced by science fiction who throughout her career has collaorated with musicians such as Janelle Monae and the British rock-metal band Bring Me The Horizon. Grimes has open up about being diagnosed as autistic and ADHD and controversially made unfonded claims of mental-illness being contagious critiquing the self-diagnosis culture.
Cat Burns is a British pop star who is autistic and has ADHD who grew up listening to gospel. She cites Anne-Marie, Destiny’s Child, Tracey Chapman and Lily Allen as influences. Courtney Love is a American musician and the front singer of the 90s rock band Hole singing hits ‘Malibu’ and ‘Celebrity Skin’ and was married to the front singer of Nirvana, Kurt Kobain. Love stated "When I talk about being introverted, I was diagnosed autistic. At an early age, I would not speak. Then I simply bloomed.” Courtney Love is now currently residing in the United Kingdom awaiting dual citizenship.

Deborah is an Australian-British comedian, podcast host, author and activist. She hosts a comedy feminist podcast ‘The Guilty Feminist’ which launched a decade ago with founder host Sofie Hagen and has co-created BBC Radio 4 podcast ‘Grown-Up Land’. She has authored two books ‘The Guilty Feminist’ and ‘Six Conversations We're Scared to Have’. They’ve recently starred in the television adaptation of Holly Smale’s Geek Girl series playing the protagonist character Harriet Manners an accidential teenage model.
